Hi, I’m Cassidy.
I’m glad you’re here.
My journey to becoming a therapist began in 2015, during a group therapy session following the loss of our first baby. In that moment, I had a distinct thought: “I want to do this for other people someday.” Less than six months later, I was enrolled in the Clinical Mental Health Counseling graduate program at Regis University.
I have worked in a variety of helping roles throughout my career, including hospice, community mental health, group practice, and nonprofit settings. My experience spans working with individuals, couples, teens, and adults aged 18–99.
During my graduate training, I specialized in grief and bereavement and completed my internship at Agape Hospice. I am credentialed as a Perinatal Mental Health Counselor (PMH-C) through Postpartum Support International and as a Birth and Bereavement Doula through Stillbirthday. While I do not attend births in a doula capacity, this training has deeply informed my attention to detail and my approach to planning for birth and postpartum care.
I see my role as empowering families to make decisions that align with their values. My heart is drawn to supporting women and individuals who have experienced loss, grief, or heartache—whatever that might look like—and who are ready to embrace their “new normal.” I believe that even in the wake of hardship and sorrow, life can hold beauty.
Inspired by the art of Kintsugi—the Japanese practice of repairing broken pottery with gold—my goal as a therapist is to meet you in your brokenness and help you discover the gold in your story. I recognize the courage it takes to trust a stranger with your pain, and I am already so proud that you have found your way here.
